1kx is an early-stage crypto venture firm that helps founders launch and bootstrap token networks. We primarily lead Seed and Series A investment rounds with a focus on infrastructure and consumer crypto, and we actively publish our own research and work to contribute to the development of the technologies and sectors we invest in. We started in 2018 and have since been building a world-class platform to support our portfolio of 80+ companies, with the goal of being the most founder-friendly and helpful source of capital.

We are looking for an addition to our investment team to help source deal flow, conduct market research, and support our portfolio companies in the consumer crypto space.

What you offer:

• Self-starter mentality with a proven ability to take initiative and operate with little oversight.

• Already active onchain and actively using/consuming consumer crypto products.
• Ideally having prior experience as a long-term content creator or community builder.
• Ideally having prior experience founding a startup.
• Ideally having had at least 2 years of experience driving product, strategy, and growth at a consumer-facing company (social, creator, gaming, entertainment).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

What you’ll do:

• Actively network and build 1kx’s presence amongst early-stage founders.
• Research, due diligence, and thesis building on 1kx’s consumer crypto focus.
• Supporting portfolio founders in growth, product, and market strategy.
• Writing and publishing content and research.
• Organize events and network with founders & investors in the industry.
