Sr Web3 Developer (Remote | Full-Time or Part-Time):

BuildBear Labs is on a mission to empower developers in the Web3 space by creating customizable dev environments, dApp testing platforms, and blockchain infrastructure tools. We're looking for Junior Web3 Developers to join our global remote team and grow alongside some of the top minds in blockchain engineering.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Help build and maintain full-stack Web3 applications and developer tools
• Work with smart contracts (primarily Solidity) and integrate them into frontend applications
• Use blockchain APIs (e.g., Alchemy, Infura, The Graph) to fetch and display on-chain data
• Collaborate on dApp testing environments, debugging EVM-based smart contracts
• Contribute to internal tooling for Ethereum, Layer 2s, and emerging chains
• Learn about decentralized identity, RPC endpoints, gas optimization, and cross-chain interoperability

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong understanding of JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (React.js preferred)
• Some backend experience (Node.js, Express.js, or similar)
• Familiarity with Solidity and smart contract architecture (or eagerness to learn fast)
• Knowledge of EVM-compatible chains (Ethereum, Polygon, Base, etc.)
• Comfortable using tools like Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle, or Remix
• Passion for Web3, crypto, open-source, and decentralized technologies

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience using The Graph, IPFS, or WalletConnect
• Understanding of gas optimization, reentrancy, and smart contract security basics
• Prior contributions to GitHub open-source projects
• Exposure to testnets, faucets, and debugging tools like Tenderly or Etherscan
• Working knowledge of RPC endpoints and running local nodes
