We are seeking a proactive individual to join our team as a Community Operations Specialist. This role will work closely with external organizations through our Grants & Sponsorship Program in their growth as event organizers on Community Gaming’s platform to post event evaluation. This role will also be key in fostering relations and building the different gaming communities within and outside of CG in a global capacity with focus on the NAMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and approve Grants & Sponsorship applications.
• Maintain conversations with grantees throughout the tenure of the grant/sponsorship from event approval, contracts, tournament creation, invoice submission, event support, and post-event reporting.
• Keep internal company records and data tracking of grants and sponsorships with detailed notes and up-to-date timelines.
• Coordinate with the social media team to promote grassroots organizers and offer support for upcoming tournaments.
• Serve as a liaison between finance and grantee for payments
• Collect and report user review and feedback for our product and development team in improving site features.
• Monitor the site daily to ensure past tournaments are unlisted and/or finished after their culmination.
• Maintain the official CG Discord server and interact with the community and respond to any outstanding support requests.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Extensive knowledge of various game developers and esports titles across different platforms (PC, Console, Mobile) and genres (AAA, web3, FPS, MOBA, Battle Royale, etc.), with a willingness to expand expertise.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to effectively engage with potential and current grantees, tournament organizers, and community members.
• Expertise in esport tournament brackets and formats.
• Exceptional attention to detail in all aspects.
• Proficiency in gaming/esport-related platforms such as Twitch, Kick, Discord, Telegram, Facebook, etc.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with Monday.com or similar project management platforms.
• Understanding of Blockchain and the Web3 Gaming Industry.
• Active engagement in the esports community.
