1. Job Overview:

As a Product Owner at Kaia Labs, you will lead the development of the company’s web services within the blockchain ecosystem, including platforms like Kaia Portal and Kaia Square. You will define the vision, prioritize features, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality, user-centric products.

This role involves translating business goals into actionable plans, ensuring compliance with blockchain standards, managing resources, and staying ahead of industry trends. Your work will be key to expanding the Kaia ecosystem and delivering innovative solutions to a global audience.

2. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute the vision, goals, and roadmap for the company’s web services within the blockchain ecosystem.
• Translate business objectives into actionable development plans and deliverables.
• Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the development team.

Project Management

• Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and ensure the development team delivers high-quality outputs on time.
• Collaborate with planners, designers, developers, and QA to ensure seamless project execution.

User-Centric Development

• Gather and analyze user and stakeholder requirements to design solutions that align with customer needs.
• Continuously monitor performance, conduct usability testing, and iterate on features based on feedback and analytics.

Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure the web service adheres to industry security standards and blockchain compliance regulations.
• Identify and mitigate risks, including privacy and cryptographic vulnerabilities.

Budget and Resource Management

• Manage project budgets, resources, and vendor relationships.
• Advocate for additional resources when necessary to ensure project success.

Market Awareness

• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, and web3 projects.
• Understand Kaia ecosystem and the needs of Kaia Foundation.

3. Qualifications

Required:

• Strong knowledge of blockchain technologies, and decentralized applications including DeFi protocols.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams (or roles) in an agile development environment.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Fluent in both English and Korean

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience with web3 technologies or developing decentralized platforms.
• Familiarity with blockchain compliance and regulatory frameworks.
