A quick run-down of the job
The Operations Manager will be responsible for supporting various activities in and around our remote office. This is an opportunity to help shape internal operations, promote our company culture, plan and execute events, and remove logistical hurdles in our fast-growing company. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to have a high impact in the workplace.

What you’ll do
Oversee and manage daily operational activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the organization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational challenges
Oversee office-related tasks (ordering equipment and office supplies, handling basic IT tasks, etc.)
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to maintain seamless operations
Be responsible for internal communication and the go-to person for all workplace matters
Plan and organize internal and external events, including monthly all-hands, dinners, conferences, team offsites
Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, travel arrangements, catering, and technical requirements
Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while delivering high-quality experiences
Monitor and evaluate event outcomes, gathering feedback and insights for continuous improvement
Support the people and operations team on special projects
Roll up your sleeves to get things done and cooperate with internal teams where necessary
What makes a good candidate
Must be located in Berlin
Previous experience from working in a tech startup
Proactivity, attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
A clear sense of ownership, responsibility and accountability for tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction within the team and external stakeholders
A high level of discretion and confidentiality to handle confidential data
Willingness to quickly and successfully embrace and adapt change
Willingness to learn and grow within the role
Remote working experience is a plus
German skills are a plus
An understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency concepts is a plus

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is a plus
