Role Overview
As Head of Business Development/Developer Relations, you will take full ownership of pod’s BD pipeline, driving high-impact partnerships and developer adoption. You will be responsible for identifying applications that can leverage pod, strategically selecting partners, and ensuring seamless integrations. You will also be an evangelist, bridging the gap between technical teams and the broader ecosystem—engaging developers, creating content, and driving adoption of pod’s technology.

Responsibilities
Business Development
Own and manage pod’s BD pipeline—from identifying opportunities to closing partnerships.
Develop a deep understanding of pod’s technology and the streams of applications that can benefit from its unique architecture.
Research and curate a list of companies that align with pod’s capabilities and strategic goals.
Prioritize and strategically select high-impact partners for collaboration.
Leverage your network and mutual connections to open communication channels with potential partners.
Develop mutually beneficial partnership strategies—finding positive-sum games that drive adoption.
Work closely with partners to understand their technical and business needs and act as the bridge between them and pod’s development team.
Collaborate with engineering and marketing to refine messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
Represent pod at industry events, conferences, and meetups to expand our network and visibility.
Developer Relations
Cultivate and grow a vibrant developer community through engagement on platforms like Twitter, Discord, Telegram, and GitHub.
Act as a key advocate for developers, collecting feedback and ensuring their needs are reflected in pod’s roadmap.
Create high-quality technical content, such as blog posts, tutorials, and demos, to educate and inspire developers.
Host workshops, office hours, and technical webinars to onboard and support developers.
Organize and participate in hackathons, developer conferences, and other community-driven events.
Requirements
Experience in business development, developer relations, or technical evangelism within Web3, crypto, or blockchain.
Strong network and industry connections across Web3 projects, including DeFi protocols, DAOs, L1s, L2s, infrastructure providers, and VCs.
Ability to identify and evaluate Web3 projects that align with pod’s ecosystem and would make strong, mutually beneficial partners.
Proven ability to own and drive BD pipelines—from research and outreach to closing deals.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts in an accessible way.
Familiarity with blockchain technology, L1/L2 ecosystems, EVM, and Web3 development.
Passion for empowering developers and driving the adoption of new technologies.
Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment and willing to travel for business and community events.
Bonus Points
Hands-on development experience in Web3 (e.g., Solidity, GoLang, Rust).
Experience creating developer-focused content (blog posts, videos, technical guides).
Familiarity with cryptography, distributed systems, or game theory.
