As the Creative Lead (Motion or Design), you will play a pivotal role in shaping our visual identity and guiding our creative direction. You will manage a team of two designers, collaborate with external agencies and teams, and ensure that all creative outputs align with our brand vision and marketing strategies. Your expertise in both graphic and motion design will be instrumental in creating engaging content that resonates with our audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You’re responsible for innovating, evolving, and overseeing all the creative initiatives – brand identities, marketing concepts, and strategies for The Sandbox based on cultural triggers, audience insights, and business needs.
  • Provide creative direction and guidance to a team of designers, editors, and other creative professionals, ensuring their work aligns with The Sandbox’s overall vision, goals, and brand identity.
  • You will innovate and create ideas with the creative teams that deliver against marketing objectives and the brief.
  • You are participating and adding value to marketing strategies and planning while working to ensure on-budget and on-time creative delivery.
  • Own end-to-end creative operations and production building relationships between creative, cross-functional teams, and executive leadership. As well as, organize and manage our asset library and creative production workflows.
  • Ability to coordinate and track high volume of work through an end-to-end creative production management.
  • Ability to adapt, remain flexible, and quickly innovate in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Lead Creative, Art Director, or similar role in a technology, platform, gaming, or consumer brand.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in either graphic and motion design. However, this role must have some technical experience in both areas so as to manage both skill sets and workstreams.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Cinema4D, Figma, and others.
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and how design impacts user engagement.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • 5+ years of experience
